KUALA LUMPUR, April 15 (Bernama) -- Former Selangor State Financial Officer Datuk Mohamed Adzib Mohd Isa has been promoted to State Secretary, Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Samsudin Osman said today.

Mohamed Adzib, 55, succeeds Datuk Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof, who was appointed Internal Security Ministry Secretary-General on April 1, he said.

The appointment of Mohamed Adzib, who was former Shah Alam Municipal Council President, took effect on April 7, he said in a statement today.
