Assurant Inc., formerly Fortris Inc., has launched a national advertising campaign to promote its new name and brand identity.

The provider of specialized insurance and insurance-related products changed its name in connection with its initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange in early February. The firm had operated as an independent arm of Fortris Insurance for 25 years.
