NEW DELHI: Yes, it's all about the rise of women to the top. Only this time round, it's kahani ghar ghar ki.

Even as the country debates reservation of seats for women in the parliament and the low number of female managers in corporate boardrooms continues to hog newsprint, a few of them are slowly - and effectively - taking charge of family-run businesses.

And these ventures range from the hard-core manufacturing sector of automotives to service-led industries like hospitality and hospitals.
