ZAGREB, April 10 (ONASA - AFP) - Britain warned Croatia on Saturday that it would oppose the country's bid to become an official candidate for European Union membership until Zagreb arrested a fugitive general wanted for war crimes by the UN court in The Hague. "We will not vote for Croatia as long as Croatia does not fulfill that which is expected from it as a democratic country," British Minister for Europe Dennis MacShane told Jutarnji List daily newspaper in an interview.
