Ramblings.
Welcome to Issue 99, which features our staff's choices of their 10 favorite recordings from the previous year. I am always amazed by the variety of musical tastes represented in this annual compendium, and I hope our readers will find some recordings here that they will want to audition soon. This is always a fun article to pull together--I am always surprised by what some of our contributors come up with. I am already trying to decide what to put on my own list for next year, and it is only February. It looks as though 2004 is going to be another very good year for recordings.
