Beijing, 6 April: The eighth session of the 10th National People's Congress [NPC] Standing Committee today approved the interpretation it had made on certain regulations in the Hong Kong Basic Law annexes. Soon after the session, the State Council Information Office called a press conference, at which Qiao Xiaoyang, member and deputy secretary general of the NPC Standing Committee, requested Li Fei, vice-chairman of the NPC Standing Committee Legislative Affairs Committee, and Xu Ze, vice-chairman of the State Council Hong Kong and Macao Office, to answer questions from the press - questions concerning the NPC Standing Committee's interpretation for certain regulations in the Hong Kong …
