Tokyo, April 5 (Jiji Press)--Kiichiro Furusawa, incoming president of the Trust Companies Association of Japan, has expressed his intention to bolster Japanese trust operations by taking advantage of the planned revision of the trust business law.

In a recent interview with Jiji Press, Furusaka, also president of Mitsui Trust Holdings Inc. , said that the association regards the government's recent submission of a bill to revise the trust business law to parliament as a great chance for the trust industry to beef up its presence in Japan.
