TAIPEI, March 6 Asia Pulse - Affected by the liberalization of Taiwan's tobacco and wine market with the island's entry into the World Trade Organization Jan. 1, 2002, the Taiwan Tobacco and Wine Board (TTWB) is planning to transform itself into a market-oriented private company.

TTWB Director-General Hwang Ing-san reported at the Legislative Yuan Monday that the TTWB's market share has been decreasing significantly since Taiwan's WTO entry.
