THE PRESIDENTIAL Anti-Graft Commission reversed itself and ruled that the graft complaint it had filed against Press Undersecretary Carmen Suva regarding a supposed discrepancy in her Statement of Assets and Liabilities should be dismissed for lack of probable cause.

The Office of the President, through Executive Secretary Alberto Romulo, upheld the PAGC's March 29 resolution that found no basis for charging Suva for not declaring a 1999-model Toyota Tamaraw in her SAL. Romulo ordered the case dismissed and Suva cleared, according to President Macapagal-Arroyo's spokesperson Ignacio Bunye.
