Thiruvananthapuram, Apr 1 (PTI) After the Indian National Congress announced its candidates for India's general elections starting this month, Kerala readies itself for the battle royale between arch-rivals the Congress led United Democratic Front (UDF) and the CPI(M)-led Left Democratic Front elections of the 20 members the state sends to the Lower House of the Parliament.

Yet to make an electoral breakthrough in the state, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) too is making unsparing efforts to make the contest triangular in some constituencies.
