A security guard was killed with two gunshots to the back yesterday while riding his motorcycle to work at a bank in the provincial capital.
The body of Chalard Chummidsa, 45, was found near his motorcycle on the Baan Jue-nga-Baan Talohnaeng Road. The Krung Thai Bank guard had suffered two fatal wounds to the back from a .45mm pistol.
Police said the deceased was followed by two assailants on a motorcycle and shot at point-blank range.
He was survived by his wife and two children.
