Leicester's richest Asian businessmen (national ranking in brackets) (14) Shiraz Dharamshi Tejani, 55, LPC Group Plc - GBP100m Turnover increased in 2003 to GBP108m from GBP69m following the de-merger of the group's pharmaceutical operation.

(25) Rashid Tayub, 55, and family, Crown Crest cash-and-carry - GBP70m Mr Tayub started a small store in Leicester after arriving from Malawi in 1976. Last year, the three Crown Crest companies made GBP8m profit.
