DUBLIN advertising agencies Grey Advertising and The Helme Partnership are to merge their businesses, with Grey Worldwide acquiring The Helme for an undisclosed sum.
The merged entity will be called Grey Helme, which will comprise media company MediaCom, PR @ The Helme and internet consultancy Rational Decisions.
Under the terms of the agreement, Grey Advertising has acquired the shareholding of thethree equity partners in The Helme Partnership - Donald Helme, Louis McConkey and Dale Parry, all of whom will join the board of Grey Helme.
They will join existing Grey directors Philip Sherwood, Maureen Carrigan, Ciara Gleesonand John Carvill.
In total, 36 staff are employed and no redundancies are anticipated in bringing thebusinesses together.
