Senior diplomats from Japan, the United States and South Korea will hold unofficial talks on the North Korean nuclear issue on April 7 and 8 in San Francisco, news reports said.

They would discuss the agenda for sessions of a working group under the six-party talks on the North Korean nuclear crisis, the Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK) said.

They hope to hold the first working group session in late April, NHK said.
