Liteye Systems (Denver, CO) has selected a high-resolution SVGA+ OLED made by eMagin (Route 52, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533; Tel: 914/892-1900, Fax: 914/892-1901) for use in their lightweight display systems. Liteye plans to incorporate the microdisplays in wearable computer applications it will manufacture under a recently announced license agreement with IBM and in innovative thermal imaging products.

Kenneth Geyer, vice president of development for Liteye, said, "We have already begun shipping products using eMagin's display technologies to over 25 of our industrial and military customers and have received excellent feedback." He added that these high- resolution …
