AUSTRALIA'S WOODSIDE SELLS 40 PER CENT OF ENFIELD OIL PROJECT TO MITSUI
PERTH - Australia's second biggest oil and gas company Woodside Petroleum Ltd (ASX:WPL) has sold 40 per cent of its massive Enfield oil project off the West Australian coast to Mitsui for $US464.5 million ($A618 million).
The Perth company said the sale of a chunk of its WA-271-P exploration permit and associated Enfield production licence WA-28-L would give Mitsui E&P Australia Pty Ltd a stake also in the nearby Laverda and Vincent discoveries.

ISLAMABAD - The federal government has decided to hire international consultants on hefty salaries and other perks and privileges for research work and identification of potential joint ventures partners in foreign countries for various exports sectors, sources confided.
The Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) will engage these consultants to identify, advise and assist export enterprises for entering into joint ventures (JV) with compatible partners in foreign countries. This scheme to be called "Assistance for Joint Ventures" (AJV) will come ...
