Shares of AaiPharma fell in pre-market action in reaction to the company's disclosure after Tuesday's closing bell that it would not file its Form 10-K for fiscal 2003 within the 15-day extension period. The Wilmington, N.C., drug firm said it has been unable to complete its review of unusual sales activities in the second half of the year. The company further added that it has uncovered certain matters during the review that are likely to require a material adjustment to its financials for 2003.
