Canberra could be hiding the next Australian Idol with auditions for the second series of the hit show being held in the national capital later this month. Grundy Television and Network Ten are conducting auditions around Australia, kicking off in Tamworth on April 14, with Canberra the very next stop on April 22. The Canberra auditions to find Australia's next musical star will be held from 8.30am at Canberra Stadium.
