OMBUDSMAN Simeon Marcelo has recommended the filing of graft charges against suspended public works Regional Director Romeo Panganiban for allegedly accumulating more than P81 million in unexplained wealth during his 37 years in government service.
According to Marcelo, additional charges of "forfeiture of unlawfully acquired properties" will also be filed against Panganiban, his wife Fe, daughter Gerraldine, sisters Elsa and Purita, and brothers-in-law Ricardo Obligacion, Eddie Opulencia and Romeo de la Virgen.
