AN OFFICIAL of the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) yesterday reiterated the government's appeal to Metro Manila residents to exert more effort in saving water as the Angat Dam's level nears its critical level.

"Double your efforts in conserving water. This is still the best way to avert our looming water problem," MWSS deputy administrator Macra Cruz advised the public.

As of yesterday noon, water elevation at the dam in Bulacan was measured at 183.66 meters.
