THE importance in disseminating information on educational opportunities to those in rural areas was underscored by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi at a recent career and education fair in Kepala Batas, Seberang Prai.
By bringing this information to parents, students and career guidance counsellors via activities such as exhibitions and fairs, he said options in bettering the lot of the young could be realised.
"There must be this availability on the kind of information that will help them chart the future of their children in education, as well as in employment," he added.
