Tokyo, March 29 (Jiji Press)--Five Japanese companies, including advertising agency Asatsu-DK Inc. and TV Tokyo Broadband Entertainment Inc., said Monday they will set up a consortium to manage almost all rights in Japan for the famous educational program Sesame Street.

The consortium, Sesame Street Partners Japan, or SSPJ, will begin operating Thursday, the five companies said.
