Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India Ltd (ECGC) was set up by the Government of India in 1957 for providing export credit insurance support to the Indian exporters.

Wholly owned by the Government of India, ECGC functions under the administrative control of the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India.
