Jakarta, March 26 (ANTARA) - Indonesia has deplored the United States' move to veto the United Nations Security Council's (UNSC)resolution condemning the killing of Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, spiritual leader of the Palestinian militant group, Hamas, in an Israeli missile attack.

"We deplore the UNSC's failure because the US has used its right to veto the UN resolution condemning Israel's (assassination of the Hamas leader)," spokesman of Indonesia's Foreign Affairs Ministry, Marty Natalegawa, told a press briefing on Friday.
