AS the dust of crisis between the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) and the National Examinations Council (NECO) subsides, the Lagos State Government has come up with a bill proposing to establish its own examinations board.

If the bill scales the House of Assembly hurdle, the proposed examinations board will take up the roles performed by WAEC and NECO in relation to students in Lagos State schools.
