Edward R. Johnson, dean of Libraries, Oklahoma State University, will be the featured speaker for the annual dinner sponsored by the Phi Beta Kappa Association of Oklahoma City.
The dinner will be April 8 at 6:30 p.m. at Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club. Johnson's topic will be "Libraries Are Obsolete in the Internet Age! (Aren't They?)." During his 40 years in academia, he has written many books and articles.
Three students from the metro area will be recognized to receive $1,000 Phi Beta Kappa scholarships. PBK is a national academic honor society in more than 225 American colleges and universities. PBK members...
