Faced with a tarnished image over corporate scandals such as those at Enron and Worldcom, business schools and corporate leaders will create a new ethics institute housed at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business Administration.
The center will provide research, courses and executive seminars to try to restore the public's trust in business. Backed by $2.7 million from an association of CEOs, the center will also include business faculty from these universities: Penn State, Penn, Northeastern, Northwestern, Harvard, Michigan, Minnesota, Notre Dame and Texas.
