Expectations that the new voters card would be embossed with the passport photographs of the holder has been cancelled, as the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Dr. Abel Guobadia said that the idea is no longer feasible.

INEC in its contract with Image Technologies of South Africa, the company charged with the responsibilities of producing voters' cards with an embossed passport photograph agreed that N7.3 billion would be expended on the voters card which will include the passport photographs.

Also, the registration of voters exercise had to be delayed …
