World Cultural Heritage workshop promotes historic sites.

By Yang Sung-jin The Cultural Properties Administration yesterday kick-started a two- day workshop on World Cultural Heritage sites with a view to promoting Korea's historical treasures and developing them as tourist attractions. The latest research from Korea and abroad will be presented at the workshop at the Tower Hotel in downtown Seoul, designed to help local organizations and agencies manage and preserve Korean historical sites and cultural properties on UNESCO's World Cultural Heritage list.
