There's a run of Spanish mackerel going on in Sarasota Bay and the passes that just might be the best in 30 years.

1Guide Jim Zacharias of the Dee-Jay II out of Annie's Bait and Tackle at Cortez reported Spanish mackerel in the inshore Gulf of Mexico, along with sheepshead to 7 pounds.
