Brand loyalty means more replacement business
If the tire fits, keep it! That seems to be the motto for many car and light truck owners when it comes to replacing the tires that came with their new vehicles.
Goodyear's original equipment team also takes notes on those actions.
"By most measures, consumers replace their tires with the same brand and line that came with the vehicle as original equipment," said Les Connolly, Goodyear's director of original equipment sales and marketing.
