PRAGUE, March 12 (CTK) - A group of 77 Sudeten Germans living in Germany and Austria plan to bring a lawsuit against the Czech Republic in the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg for the return of property or financial compensation, today's Lidove noviny writes.

The group is not demanding that the Benes decrees be overturned, but would like a rectification of the economic injustice done to them by postwar Czechoslovakia.

Under the decrees of then president Eduard Benes, Germans in the former Czechoslovakia were expelled from the country and their property was confiscated after World War Two.
