Parents of children who will start kindergarten in August need to register with the school.

Children must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1 to register. Bring the following items: a certified copy of the child's birth certificate; proof of child's physical, dated within one year of school entry (*Gold 3040 form); child's immunization records (*Blue 680 form); Social Security number, if available; and proof of address, such as a utility bill or copy of lease.

A school nurse will be available to review records and answer questions. The Manatee County Health Department will provide free immunizations.
