Mavs main man Mark Cuban will give some lucky contestant a million bucks this summer as the host of a reality show on ABC. And here's the best part: It's not a beauty pageant or a survival-of-the-fittest competition. The winner, in fact, will be heaped with cash despite lacking special talent. The title for this project is The Benefactor, which just beat out Win Shawn Bradley's Money.

A rivalry that's getting hairy

This Yankees-Red Sox thing really is getting out of control. Immediately after Boston ace Pedro Martinez showed up at spring training with perm-like curls, George Steinbrenner sent his No. 1 starter, Mike Mussina, to the salon to get a weave.

Jose Canseco was scheduled to try out for the Dodgers earlier this week. If this seems like a desperate attempt by a desperate man trying to play for a desperate team, well, yeah, sure it is.
