Oct. 16--BRIGGSDALE -- Lisa Jacobs tried to get some sleep Sunday, but nothing worked.

She just kept thinking about her husband of eight years, how much she loved him and how she lost him in a midnight crash. And she worried about their daughters.

Brad Jacobs, 32, died early Sunday morning in a one-vehicle crash about 15 miles south of his hometown of Briggsdale. He was on Colo. 392, driving home when he lost control of his Nissan Pathfinder, rolled two-and-a-half times and was thrown out. He died at the scene.
