Much more than just north bragging rights are on the line when Caithness and Highland cross swords tomorrow.
For the Inverness men, victory is imperative to their hopes of making up ground on the early pacesetters in National League Division 2. Highland sit eighth going into the game.
For their Thurso rivals, a proud unbeaten record is on the line as they aim to hold third place in the league.
Caithness coach Colin Sangster said: "We have home advantage in our favour and haven't been beaten at home for two years, so there must be something in that." After seven games, Caithness hold an eight-point advantage over Highland in the race for promotion to Division 1.
Sangster believes that gap is not a fair representation of the abilities of tomorrow's visitors.
He said: "On the pitch it will be very even, we know that from previous games.
