MTI Training For Maryland.(Mortgage Training Institute)
DENVER -- Mortgage Training Institute will be conducting education for Maryland's new requirement that all mortgage originators with less than three years experience take an approved 40-hour training course.
The Maryland Office of Financial Regulation has given MTI approval to conduct classes for those wishing to become or continue to be mortgage originators in Maryland. Individuals originating loans in Maryland that do not have at least three years of experience in the mortgage lending business must complete the course and pass a written examination by Jan. 1, 2007.
New applicants with less than three years experience must also meet the same requirements to obtain a license. MTI has developed a 40-hour live class that specifically meets the educational requirements that Maryland has mandated and is teaching this course on a monthly basis in Columbia, Md.
