Nakuru forward Edwin Shimenga has been recalled to the national seven-a-side rugby team that is preparing for the fifth leg of the International Rugby Board Sevens Series in Hong Kong.

Shimenga, who was in the Kenya squad that won the Sri Lanka Sevens last year, has recovered from an injury and will add weight and pace in the forward line.

The Kenya Rugby Football Union could also include former Mean Machine winger Lucas Onyango one week before the team leaves on March 22.
