Although the celebration of 100 years of Dr. Seuss might not be as popular as it would have been before No Child Left Behind, the "Cat in the Hat" is here to stay.
Tuesday was Dr. Seuss' birthday, a day that has been celebrated by elementary school teachers for years, and will continue to be celebrated despite a push toward focusing on standardized test material.
No Child Left Behind is President Bush's education initiative that requires public schools to meet certain standards.
