SECTARIANISM and reconciliation are two of the key subjects being examined at a special one-day conference for sixth form students on Thursday, March 4.

The first conference of its kind organised by Ploughshare, an inter-denominational Christian group, it has been specifically designed to help A-Level Religious Education students prepare for exams.

Students will be challenged to look at the scriptural basis for reconciliation; reflect on their personal involvement in sectarianism and consider ways to identify a role for themselves in reconciliation, developing links as part of this process.
