Nairobi, Kenya (PANA) - Briton Paula Radcliffe suffered an unexpected defeat Sunday in Puerto Rico's 10-km race after she was beaten by Kenyan-born Dutch runner Lorna Kiplagat.

According to the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), the event was the first race this year for both Europeans.

It may be recalled that Radcliffe set her world record in the 10- km event a year ago. Kiplagat, who finished fifth in the 2003 World Championships' …
