CARAVAN ORGANIZED TO MARK OPENING OF AIRPORT IN CENTRAL TAIWAN.
TAIPEI, March 1 Asia Pulse - A caravan of cars and horses decorated with colorful flowers moved through the streets of downtown Taichung City in central Taiwan Sunday to mark the opening of an international airport in the region.
The carnival-style activities were sponsored by the Central Coordination Office under the Executive Yuan to celebrate the March 6 inauguration of the international airport in Chingchuankang, which is also an air force base.
