SEOUL, March 1 Asia Pulse - South Korea's main bourse is expected to undergo corrections this week as Wall Street remains sluggish and foreign investors in Seoul also reduced buying this week, analysts said Saturday.
The Korea Composite Stock Price Index, the barometer of the Korea Stock Exchange, closed last week at 883.42, up 0.68 per cent from the previous week.
Analysts said it is notable that foreign investors here turned cautious as IT shares in the U.S. market are inactive.
Investor sentiment is also likely to be affected by the maturing of futures and options on March 11, they said.
"It is desirable (for investors) to manage risks," Daewoo Securities Co. analyst Kim Seong-joo said.
