THE "BIG W" almost came and Jenny Rosales just made everybody know that she's serious about it.
Unable to match the scorching pace put on by Annika Sorenstam, Rosales did the best that she could and rewarded herself with an impressive tie for third place in the cash-rich ANZ Ladies Masters at the Royal Pines Golf Club course in Gold Coast, Australia.
A hot charge of consecutive birdies on her first three holes and four of the first five didn't last long enough for Jenny who went on to post a 4-under-par 68 for a 277 total like Australian Kylie Pratt in her first tournament of the season.
The 25-year-old Rosales started with a 72, sizzled with a 65 in the next round but slowed down with another 72 on Saturday.
Sorenstam, in full control after a 31 in the front nine, had an eagle-aided 7-under 65 to beat Karen Stupples of England by four strokes at 269. Stupples scored a 68.
