If not, why hasn't Philippine Olympic Committee president Celso Dayrit done the heroic, the apt and necessary move?
There were many concerned calls, mainly from objective and concerned sports followers, who sincerely believe Dayrit should have put his foot down and ruled heroically on the pestering leadership mess inside the country-less Basketball Association of the Philippines, BAP for short.
Last heard of, Dayrit was packing his bags for Athens to attend an International Olympic Committee meeting.
It seemed he wanted an opinion of his elders in the IOC on the troubles now hounding the BAP.
