GM Daewoo Auto & Technology Co. said yesterday that it will begin to take applications for 500 free one-year test drives of its vehicles Tuesday, after picking 500 first-round winners in January.

The Korean unit of General Motors Corp., the world's largest automaker, said that the second-phase application period will run until the end of April, before selecting the winners through an electronic draw in May.
