LETRAN downed Adamson, 21-16, for its third straight victory yesterday and paced two other teams into the women's quarterfinals of the Nestea Beach Volley 2004 Luzon elimination at the Rockwell Center in Makati.

Fresh from their victory in the NCAA beach volley recently, Cathlea Villaluz and Genelyn Alemania kept their record unblemished by trouncing Kristine Ann Dave and Hannah Suarez.

Though the Adamson spikers managed to hang tough at 15-all, the 19-year-old Alemania sparked Letran's strong finish with a variety of moves, including a drop shot that sent their opponents plunging …
