THIS year's high season for the refrigerated cargo trades has started slowly, with a late harvest in the southern hemisphere weighing on the spot market, Star Reefers said Friday when publishing net profit for 2003 of $5.2m against $5.3m in 2002.
The result was helped by a $6.1m gain from vessel sales that was offset by much higher charter hire costs.
