GROWING US broker Arthur Gallagher & Co revealed at the end of last week that its subsidiary, Arthur J Gallagher (UK) Ltd had bought the remaining 50% of its British joint venture, Risk Management Partners Ltd, from Am Re Holdings Ltd (UK), an affiliate of American Re, writes Richard Banks, London.
Risk Management Partners, which was created in 1994 was set up to offer innovative insurance and risk management products to public entities throughout the UK. The format allows the products to be combined with claims and loss management services through Gallagher's subsidiary, Gallagher Bassett International Ltd (UK).
