Vietnam is estimated to record total industrial production value of VND28.26 trillion ($1.81 billion) in February, up 25.2% on-year and 3.59% on-month, according to government figures.

The figure in January was modest with total value of VND 27.28 trillion compared with the VND31.4 trillion recorded in December last year due to the long Tet holiday.

In the first two months of the year the country is expected to attain total industrial production of VND55.5 trillion, up 15.6% on-year.
